As today makes the official release of the Netflix game animated adaption of the iconic Devil May Cry franchise we decided to cover the 8 episode adventure. As you may know Aditya Shankar writer of the hit series "Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix" on Netflix so he is no stranger to video game animated adventures so I think every fan was excited once he announced he will be writing a creating a Devil May Cry series. Even though this series is not the first adaption of the title this series dives deeper in a creative process and a new animation style.

what starts Dante's adventure?
The story starts Dante (voiced by the talented Johnny Yong Bosch), a skilled demon hunter and the son of the mighty powerful demon Sparda, who finds himself caught in a battle against a quite sinister demon that threatens to tear apart the human world piece by piece. Little does Dante know he inherits a very powerful necklace from his deceased mother—a seemingly simple heirloom holds a much darker power. As the story starts to unfold, a demon in the form of a man sized rabbit emerges, whose sole mission is to open the evil gates of Hell and bring about an era of horror. This demon, unleashes chaos that forces Dante to confront not only his own inner demons but also the threat of an apocalyptic fate.

Now for the review part, "Devil May Cry" will no DOUBT amaze fans of the series, it introduces a new depth to the characters and storylines that will make you be more appealed to the show from beginning to end. Expect heart-stopping action sequences with amazing animation done by Mir Studios, complex character development, and a beautifully dark aesthetic that excels the series corny jokes from Dante makes the show seem fun and enjoyable with amazing voice performances. I shall say the story personally contains a little to much and gets a little to insane for the story which made me quite lost in the story. With the combination of stunning visuals, a compelling storyline, and performances by an incredible cast, "Devil May Cry" has to be one of my personal favorite video game adaptions especially from an animated series, a solid 9/10.
